In 2009, country B lead in the number of exported pineapple at more than 4 million tonnes. Meanwhile, the amount of pineapple exported by country A was around one third compared to the amount of country B. Country C exported tiny tones of pineapple.
In 2019, figure for country A soared sharply more than 10 million tonnes, ranking the first. Country C also shared an increasing experience by roughly two fold. In contrast, figure for country B went into free fall and reached under 2 million tonnes.
According to the pine chart, in 2019, price that consumers had to pay for one pineapple consisted of mostly by distribution and retail cost ( 35%). 18% cost was for profit. 16% cost was due to tax. Cost of international transport made up for 12%. Import license took 10% of total cost. Finally, cost of export and producer were 4% and 5% respectively.
Overall, the amount of pineapple exported among countries were significantly changeable and pineapple price contained a variety of costs.
