The chart below gives information about how people aged 25-34 are housed in the UK.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar chart gives information about the accommodation of people who are aged 25-34 in the UK, whether to own a home or rent it. The data is given for each year between 2004 and 2014.
Overall, the percentage of homeowners had a decreasing trend throughout these years, while renters’ proportion increased steadily in this period.
About 60 percent of people aged 24-35 owned a home in 2004. This value was maximum for more than a decade surveyed. This percentage remained almost constant until the year 2008. After that, it dropped gradually and reached to about 42% in 2011. Then it had no change for one year and finally went down slightly to approximately 35% in the year 2014.
The proportion of renters among 24-35-year old people in the UK was 20% in 2004 (just under one-third of homeowners). This percentage increased steadily in the following years. In the year 2012, the percentage of renters became approximately equal to the other group. Next year, renters caught up with homeowners. In 2014, The percentage for renters reached around 46% which is about 11% more than the other group percentage.
