The line graph gives information about 3 different jails (car theft, house burgling, street robbery) in England and Wales in the 35-year period from 1970 to 2005.
Generally, the number of car theft crimes was highest during the period shown. By contrast, street robbery jails were lowest.
It is clear that in 1970, the most popular form of crimes in England and Wales was car theft approximately at 0.4 million, while the street robbery hit a low of around 0.1 million. Turning to the remaining form of that one, we can see that house burgling jails were a little higher than the street robbery sector, at about 0.2 million.
In the period from 1970 to 2005, there was a considerable climb in the number of car theft crimes and it reached a peak of 1,6 million in 1995, then dropped. Likewise, the crimes which were made by house burgling form increased slightly in this time and then decreased too. However, in the same period, it remained relatively stable and was not a negligible amount to compare with the other forms.

This doesn't make sense. It would be better to write crimes.
