Overall, the UK sold the largest amount of coffee, while the sales figures in Switzerland was the lowest in the year 1999 and 2004. At the same time, most of the bananas were sold by Switzerland; however, Belgium and Sweden sold the lowest number of bananas during the whole period.
According to the first table, in 1999, the UK was the biggest trader for coffee( 1.5 million euros), while sales figures for coffee in Sweden, was around half of the UK's figures, only 0.8 million euros. After five years later, the UK was still the main trader for coffee and the number of coffee sales had a significant increase, which was 20 million euros in 2004. The coffee sales in Sweden remained the lowest, only increased by 0.2 million euros in the last year.
In terms of bananas, the sales number in Switzerland experienced a remarkable went up, from 15 to 47 million euros in five years, which increased more than three times than its initial figures. Finally, Sweden and Denmark presented a different pattern, with decreased by 0.8 and 1.1 million euros respectively.
