The maps below show the changes that took place at a science and technology museum between 1996 and 2016.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The maps depict the alterations to the Science and Technology Museum for two decades. Overall, the museum underwent a period of development in technology as more advanced devices and facilities were installed in the area.

The most striking change was to the center of the building, with an evolution in technological equipment. In 1996, whereas there were writing desks located in the top-left corner of the main area, they were replaced with a block of computers. Furthermore, the library was removed to next to the computers because of the occurrence of a 3D cinema, nonetheless, it was renovated with an increase in its capacity. Additionally, a completely new virtual room was erected near that library.

Another major change to the museum in 1996 was the replacement of a print room located in front of the old library. It was knocked down to be made way for a digital technology room. Moreover, in order to be environmentally friendly, the museum was equipped with a solar wind area in the top-right corner. On the commercial side, a coffee shop was torn down for a restaurant. Another alteration was the reduction of the capacity of the car park for a bicycle park, which took place in 2016.

To summarize, the area was renovated extensively with multitudinous advancement of technology, and its expansion of some facilities.
