IELTS TASK 1: CHANGES IN AVERAGE HOUSE PRICES

Hi this is my writing task 1, thanks for your review in advance. Would you mind focusing on evaluating my word choice, task performance, grammar, coherence, and cohesion and give me the score for this writing task 1?

The bar chart illustrates how average accommodation costs changed in five dissimilar cities over the world during two spans of period 1990-1995 and 1996-2002 in comparison to the changed in 1989.

Overall, it is clearly evident that the changed from 1990-1995 decreased in New York, Tokyo and London. Whereas, prices increased in New York, Madrid and London during 1996-2002 compared with the costs in 1989.

Looking at the details in 1990-1995, costs of houses in both cities Madrid (Spain) and Frankfurt (Germany) increased by 2 and 3%. While rates in New York (USA), Tokyo (Japan) and London (UK) decreased around 5 to 7% compared with 1989 prices.

With regard to the next period, only in Tokyo (Japan) where the costs went down at 5% and still below 1989 levels. In Frankfurt (Germany) the changed was below 1989 levels but had a slight decrease compared to the year 1989. In contrast, the prices of real estate in New York (USA) and Madrid (Spain) rose significantly by 4 and 5%. In addition, London's house prices were amounting to 12% which was the highest rate over the given period.
