Looking at the graph more closely, one can see that the year 2013 witnessed that England’s female unemployment rate was the greatest at 6.8 percent followed by that in Scotland at 6.1 percent. The percentage of jobless women in Wales and Northern Ireland were 5.4 and 5.6 percent, respectively. This figure was remarkably lower than those in two above countries.
Not as was the case with the year 2013, Scotland had the highest unemployment rate for woman at 6.7 percent in the following year. England ranked second with 6.5 percent female who were out of work while the rates for Wales and Northern Ireland were lower at 5 and 4.6 percent in 2014. It is also of note that the data of English, Wales, Northern Ireland women unemployment plummet compared to 2013 figure.
