The chart illustrates the average weekly working hours that full-time and part-time workers had in three countries Greece, Netherland, UK and in Europe Average.
Overall, in all three countries, the working hours of all male working full time as well as part time jobs are higher than that of women. However, in Europe Average, women tend to have more time of working than men.
According to the chart, the working hours of males in both the UK and Greece were clearly more than those of females. Specifically, in UK, male with a permanent job had over 40 working hours per week. Meanwhile, this number of females was only over 35 hours. However, the working hours of both genders in Netherland did not show a significant difference (38 hours).
In Europe Average, it is clear to see that males with permanent jobs used to spend around 45 hours working, compared with 38 hours of women. In contrast, regarding the part-time working hours chart, the total working time of males were nearly 28 hours which were 3 hours lower than that of females.
