The given bar chart and table show differences in the volume of internal water usage and the price of water in 5 countries. In general, the higher price could result in less water utilized.
As can be seen from the chart and the table, the US exceeds other countries to be in the first rank in terms of water usage with approximately 360 liters, followed by 330 liters in Canada and 300 liters in Italy in the second and third position, respectively. The plausible reason for this is that citizens in US just pay the lowest price of 0.01 US dollars for each m3 of water usage, compared to 0.31 and 0.7 US dollars per m3 in Canada and Italy, in order.
In contrast, Germany with the cost of 1.35 US dollars per m3 of water used is the country with the lowest water usage of around 210 liters. Even though the highest price of water of 2.1 US dollars each m3 is recorded in France, water usage in this country is still higher than that in Germany with 250 liters used.
