The chart shows the amount of UK acid rain emissions in four different sectors:transport and communication, electricity, gas and water supply, domestic and other industries over the course of 16 years starting in 1991.

Looking at the chrt, it is obviously that the amount of UK’s acid rain from 1991 to 1997 experienced a downward trend. The most dramatic ws seen in electricity,gas and water supply.

In 1991, electricity, gas and water supply registed the highest finger with nearly 3.5 million ons of acid rin. On the other hand, the numbers of other sectors were much more lower: 2.1 million tons of other industries and 0.6 million ton of transport and communication. Domestic got the lowest position in the chart in 1991 withabout 0.5 million ton.

From 1991 to 007, electricity, gas and water supply witnessed a mass decrease of nearly 3 milion tons. While the fingure for domestic sector has kept going down (0.2 million ton). Acid rin gas in other sector also felt gradually with 1.7 million ton in 2007.
