IELTS required or not

Hai,

I have a question regarding IELTS exam.

Is IELTS required for 457 work visa for AUSTRALIA..If necessary what is the band i need to get??

My uncle owns a consulting company in australia so sponsorship is open for me. My problem is am not good at grammer and afraid whether IELTS is required or not.

Can anyone please help me..Thanks in advance
