IELTS paraphrase

Questions: The graph below shows the amount of money spent on books in Germany, France, Italy and Austria between 1995 and 2005.

My introduction: The line graph provides the volume of money wasted on books in 4 countries: Germany, France, Italy and Austria from 1995 to 2005.

My questions: Is it possible to use “the volume of money” in this case? or in an another “the volume of population?

If i use “:” to list the countries, any problems with this?
