*Topic:

You are going on a month training programme to the UK and know that the head of the course would like one of the participants to be the social events' organiser.

Write a letter to the Training Organiser. In your letter

• expressing your interest in the role
• requesting more information about it
• explaining what experience you have

You should write at least 150 words.

*Answer:

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I am writing in response to your requirement for a social events’ organizer. I am very interested in becoming a social events’ organizer to give people a good experience during the training program. There are a few things that I would love to know to make sure that everything occurs smoothly. First, how many people at maximum will be attending the program? Second, where will the event be held and what do the facilities include? Finally, how many members are there in the logistics team? I am actually working for a social event holding company. I have had five years of experience in preparing for both formal and informal attires. I used to work in team responsible for hold a live concert on a national scale. I am also experienced in organizing training programs for schools and corporations.

I am not very clear about formal ways to express my interest in a particular topic. Could you please recommend some?

Supposed this were an email and I were required to write a subject, would "Self nomination for the social events' organizer position" be ok?
