Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to lodge my complaint regarding your recent article on my city– Lahore. Your written piece presented distorted picture of my area and it is giving hurting image of the city globally, I request you to rectify your mistakes and present accurate information.
I read your whole story regarding my city with keen attention. Although it contained much information regarding Lahore, however I was astonished to see how your credible periodical can publish distorted historical facts without investigation. In your piece, you highlighted that terrorism is on rise in city and people are being killed daily. Also, you highlighted that crime rate in on rise.
Please understand that in this globalized world such kind of information can have negative consequences for the city. Our image has been distorted, and it will have negative effect on out potential tourists. Furthermore, by associating history with particular religion it will harm communal unity among us.
I request you to publish a revised version of the article after doing research. For this I recommend having a personal visit to city. By this you can get firsthand experience of our town.
I am waiting for your positive and swift response on this issue.
Yours faithfully,
Mike
