IELTS essay, pls help me to correct it

Face to face communication is better than other types of communication such as letters, email, or telephone calls. Do you agree or disagree?

The idea that communication in person is outweighed the contemporary connection such as email, telephone calls or even letters has remained the source of controversy. In my opinion, I disagree with that idea as the faceless communication has more benefits.

Firstly, faceless communication provides the means to connect people regardless geography distance. As the matter of fact, these means of communication do not require all participants to be presented at a same place. Technology plays the role as the facilitator to help people to communicate without the need of meeting in person. Telecommunication is a concrete evidence for that idea. With affordable devices, people from one end of the word can instantly have a talk with their friends, relatives or colleagues at another end. This is almost impractical for traditional face to face communication.

Secondly, email or letters gives communicators the second chance to ponder before the message is sent out. It is obvious that direct conversation does not give participants much time to think about what they want to say. This would have more severe impact if people put too much emotion or misleading information which can completely destroy the whole conversation. In contrast, communication via email or letters, writers have more time to polish their words in the way that it fully conveys their idea and the possibility of misleading message is minimized. Moreover, at any point of time prior to the email or letters sent out, writers can alter them without worrying about the implication this may have on the receivers as this chance is invisible to the receiver.

In summary, the faceless communication means have demonstrated them as the better method for long distance conversation or giving participants a second chance to consider their opinion, I do believe that email, letters, and telephone calls still be the better means for communication.
