The diagram illustrates the process of how wasted glass bottles are recycled.

From an overall perspective, it is evident that there are three stages in the whole recycling process, beginning with the collection of wasted glass bottles and ending with the delivery of products in new bottles to retail outlets such as supermarkets.

In the first stage of the process, the wasted glass bottles which are put into collection points, are delivered by the recycling trucks to a glass recycling facility.

In the next stage, the wasted bottles are cleaned with high-pressure water. Next, they are separated into clear, brown and green glass. Afterwards, they are broken into glass pieces in the glass factory and then moved to a furnace, where they are burned at a high temperature of 600 to 800 degrees. Following this, the recycled glass is now liquid. Before being shaped in glass mold, the recycled liquid glass is combined with new liquid glass.

In the last stage, the new bottles are used for different products, delivered to supermarkets or shops and ready for sales.
