Topic: Buying things on the Internet such as books, air tickets and groceries, is becoming more and more popular. Do the advantages of shopping in this way outweigh the disadvantages?

In recent years, most people prefer to spend their money on shopping online over offline shopping. Personally, despite their drawbacks, I would argue that more online purchase services should be provided based on their evident merits.
On the one hand, buying items on the Internet has its negative impacts. The biggest drawback to online shopping is the lack of touch on the product. In other words, customers do not know the quality of what it is as well as it is difficult to distinguish whether it is fake or real. Buyers may just see the images or videos and read the description. Another reason is that it would delay the delivery. If you want to shop for something in the e-commerce market, it will take at least from 3 to 5 days or even weeks for your delivery. As a result, this tends to make the customers depressed and prevent them from ordering online.
On the other hand, there are justifiable reasons why online shopping has tremendous benefits in modern life. Firstly, they provide great conveniences. Instead of spending any time buying things at offline stores, consumers can order whatever they need without locating limitations by simply tapping a few buttons on the screen. This will help users save time a lot and buy it easier. Secondly, internet shopping could be a powerful tool in terms of various products. It is extremely useful for buyers to have many choices to order. For example, with a wide range of items, they can find any brand or the latest trends through Facebook, Instagram, or e-commerce websites such as Shoppe, Lazada, Tiki, etc.
In conclusion, despite the disadvantages of online shopping related to lacking product awareness and shipping problems, I believe the benefits outweigh the drawbacks because it also helps consumers improve their freedom of shopping and lifestyle
