Some people believe famous people’s support towards international aid organization draws attention to problems. Other think celebrities make the problems less important. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

It is said that celebrity’s appearance in the global aid organization attracts a lot of attentions from the community. While some people think that their participation can downplay the significance of problem, I believe that the first opinion can bring the enormous and positive changes in our society.

There are many reasons why a number of people think that celebrities decrease the value of volunteering activities. Some of them say that the famous people join in social projects because of their reputation. In an effort to attract the attention of others, a number of people involve in as many charity activities as possible without any interests or passion. Furthermore, associating with celebrities may trivialize the serious work of aid organization. In particular, the focus of the serious work can be shifted away from this endeavor to the fame or public image of that famous person, which does down the value of volunteering activities. On the other hand, the famous’s donation also play an important role in non-profit organizations and bring a meaningful change to social activities. Firstly, they have a huge member of fans who are willing to donate money or help because of inspiration from their idol. For example, when A – a famous single of millennial generations – took part in a social project to support under privileged children in the mountainous area, a range of youngsters from his fan club join in this project by working as a volunteer or undertake fund raising events thanks to his encouragement. Secondly, celebrities are trusted by both national and foreign community leading to success in establishing aid organization’s reputations. As a result, a large number of people know and donate for these organization.

In conclusion, although there are some drawbacks for the famous’s participation in global aid organization, I believe that it is more meaningful for the community if they join in the volunteering activities.
