ID's (verb)

Merriam-Webster's lists the following verb forms for ID (identification):

ID'd
ID'ing

They don't list ID's (for 'identifies') as a verb form. Is it safe to assume that the correct abbreviated form (as a verb) of ID is ID's-- yes or no?

They do list the plural form of 'ID' as 'IDs'.
