Idioms Ques

Hi There
I heard 'I am always marked by people coz I use dental floss too often'
my friend said it means 'laughed at'
I am wondering is that a widely accepted idiom or is that a American Idiom only?

As an American, I've never heard anything close to that phrase. So, no, it's not widely accepted. I think your friend was either mistaken or pulling your leg (there's an idiom I hear all the time ).

I am American, and I've never heard this idiom before.
