Can you help me to know the meaning of these idioms?
-burning up.
-in hot water.
-wet blanket.
misty eyed.

Hi "burning up" = strongly attracted to someone, sexually - Don't you know that I'm burning up for your love? "in hot water" = in trouble, because you have done something wrong - Because of my behaviour in class, I was often in hot water with the teachers . "wet blanket" = someone who spoils other people's fun because they are not in that mood - I don't want to be a wet blanket but I just want to go home to sleep "misty eyed" = strongly attracted to someone romantically; or having good feelings about a person or situation - As I watched her walking across the meadow, I was misty eyed - When I remember the picnic with Aunty Vera and the children, I go misty eyed Dave
