a weather man recently used an idiom to describe the weather - in as much as it was a nice day rather than the normal wet weather. I can't remeber the idiom

It might help us to come up with a specific idiom if we knew what the weather was like at the time. Recently, the weather-guessers around here have been using "soggy" to describe our weather. I don't care much for that, as I think of "soggy" to describe the grass, the ground, etc.
