Idiom with huddle

I've come across with the following idiom from an American colleague:

Can we do a quick a huddle on this?

would you help me validate[*]and interpret it?

ps: I'm not sure the form "a+quick+a" is correct, at least is sounds a bit weird to me

No, there's a typo, Vm-- it should be 'Can we do a quick huddle on this?' (only one 'a'), which means have a brief (private) discussion on the topic.
