Idiom - to wrap one's mind around

Hello there,

Is it possible to use to wrap my mind around to express the idea that I'm so busy that I don't have enough time to do something?

For example:

Sorry, I've been so busy recently that I haven't even had time to wrap my mind around any other matters.

I know that this idiom normally means to understand sth.

Thanks

It doesn't make much sense. Your hectic schedule has nothing to do with the strangeness or complexity of the matters you're neglecting.

I think you might be confusing it with "get one's head (a)round something" which doesn't fit your context.

You could use "get (a)round to" in your sentence.
