Hi, "She/he doesn't know of stopping" This seems very odd. Can you say it another way, so that we can understand your meaning? Clive

Hi,

For example:

Person1: She keeps complaining about her work shift
Person2: Oh ***, (i dont know if the right idiom) she doesn't know of stopping?

Thanks again.

Could it possibly be "She doesn't know from stopping?" The "doesn't know from" construction comes to us from the Yiddish, and http://ask.metafilter.com/10341/is a absolutely fascinating thread on the topic.

Hi,

You could aslo say 'She never stops', although it's not an idiom.

Or 'She never thinks of stopping', it you want to use '. . . of stopping'.
