identifying the function the components

hi all,

I want to know what are the functions of the following components.

Example: Then, all of a sudden the dog with the broken leg bit the boy on the arm.

The answer: all of a sudden (adverbial) the dog with the broken leg (Subject) bit (Verb) the boy (Direct Object) on the arm (Adverbial)

so for the following sentences

(1) her face pressing against the pillow
(2)Was that a dream?
(3) Was she still dreaming?
(4) The curtains in her room were drawn.
(5) The dull thudding throbbed in her head
(6) She couldn't remember a thing.
(7) her mind now was filled with images of flashing
lights, dancing cartwheels, vaulting fireworks.
(8)They were talking to someone.
(9) Images of long ago danced into focus.
(10) The thudding, she realised, was a knocking on her door

What is the function of the component in each of the sentence?
subject (S), verb (V), direct object (DO), indirect
object (IO), subject complement (SC), object complement (OC) or
adverbial (A)

This is actually a part of my assignment that I am working on so please help Emotion: wink. I know it's quite straight forward but just want to make sure what I've got is correct. Thank you soooooo much.

2) Was (V) that (S) a dream? (SC)
3) Was still dreaming? (V) // she (S)
4) The
