Identifying a gerund

Hi, I'm doing a writing exercise where I have to show, among other things, my understanding of alliteration and gerunds. In the following sentence I have composed are the words 'convincing' and 'revealing' gerunds, and if so, why? : "Her attractiveness was as convincing as a palace porch painted on a portakabin - yet appealing."
