Identify the Subject and Object

Hi all,

I know I am asking a lot, but if you are feeling kind; could you please indentify the subject and object in the following sentences:

  1. Lucy spent the whole night practising ballet
  2. I wrote a letter to my Uncle.
  3. Emma cries in her spare time
  4. The man watched the boats in the harbour
  5. I was feeling hungry at playtime
  6. Sally turned five yesterday
  7. Today we did english with Mr Boothby.
  8. Last night I went round my friends house.

Many, many thanks!

I think I might be confusing my self. In simple sentences its often; Subject, verb then object. But, I think some of the above might have direct and indirect objects?
