Hello everyone!
My question is about phrasal verbs.
I've been reading and listening to English content for many years and when they use phrasal verbs I'm able to understand them a lot of the time, but it's not instant. I can't pick them up on the fly as do with regular terms. It takes me a little bit longer. It's not too bad though.
Feeling confident using them is an issue as well.
Now, I've been using Duolingo for German and I've noticed spaced repetition allows me to access even words I don't use often, so I believe it could help me with phrasal verbs too.
A few days ago, I decided to ask on Reddit whether an Anki list of 3000+ phrasal verbs would be good to improve and some said:
I was left with more questions than before asking, so:
What would you recommend doing in order to build a list that's extensive and contains terms that are actually used by Americans?
I've found adding them one by one as I encounter them isn't very effective for me. It would take me a long time to get to 150.
Thank you very much for reading!
