I'd be passed out if she turned me down

Hi,

[James]: What're you so afraid of? Just tell her what you're feeling about her.

[Ted]: I'd totally die if she turned me down.

In above conversation, if I replace "die" with "be passed out" or "be embarrassed", does it make sense? What I mean is, do you say like that?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, Victoria, it would make sense. But you would want to word the examples this way: I'd be embarrassed if she turned me down. I'd pass out if she turned me down.

Yes, Victoria, it would make sense. But you would want to word the examples this way:

I'd be embarrassed if she turned me down.

I'd pass out if she turned me down. (Not... I'd be passed out.)

There is a different degree of intensity to the three expressions.
