"Ice up son" ?

I'm huge fan of NFL, and I'm curious to know what does that mean.

see this interview

He concluded his interview with saying "Ice up son, ice up !!"
It sounds very cool but I really don't understand what he meant.

Could you explain please ?

Sounds to me like he means: "put ice on your injury, and keep playing". He was just asked about a teammate that didn't finish the game.

Thank you, Vorpar. It was actually an opponent player who covered him all day and had kind of scuffle with him.
Later, yes, he got hurt so that makes sense.
