- Task 2: Spoken communication is more always powerful than written communication. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays, the debate on whether oral communication is always expressed in a way more powerful than written communication or not has been receiving a great deal of public attention. Although written communication has some benefits, in most situations, spoken one plays a more vital role.

There are a myriad of advantages of oral communication that should be considered. First, since illiterate people do not know how to write, it is necessary for them to use spoken communication. This means that uneducated persons will be more comfortable to have a talk with others, regardless of the fact that they are not armed with reading and writing skills, which helps them find less isolated from the society. Second, by meeting in person and talking, spoken communication facilitates the process of understanding each other in the conversation. In fact, people are more likely to express their feeling, show their attitudes when speaking, thus making their partners know more about the speaker.

Other points to consider that spoken communication is a great of benefit are time-saving and useful in urgent situations. First, in order to save time, people tend to opt for speaking instead of spending hours on texting. In fact, the speed of speaking is much more faster than that of writing, helping saving a large amount of time humans. Second, if one is in an urgent case and need to be rescued, oral communication will be more effective. This means that he or she only needs to make a call for their family or friend to get help, avoiding unnecessary risks.

In conclusion, oral communication is much more powerful than any forms of communication, especially written one. By considering the benefits of the two forms, individuals can make the best decisions.
