I [wouldn't have thought] that

Both Tom and Jake gave her cooking ability their seal of approval, but I wouldn't have thought it was this good.


I don't think that because the speaker knows whether he himself has ever thought something or not, it is awkward to speak either "I would have thought something" or "I would haven't thought something."
