I wouldn't be surprised.

Hello dears,

• "Do you think they'll get married?" "I wouldn't be surprised."
•You know, I wouldn't be surprised if some of the top executives lose their jobs.
• You know, I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to get married.
• I wouldn't be surprised to hear that she'd left that job by now.

What does 'I wouldn't be surprised' mean ?
I thought it was used as 2nd conditional if. But I am surprised to see that 'would' used with 'present','future','past' ,...

It means 'She has not yet left that job by now' and if 'that' happen it doesn't make me surprised.

Maybe she did leave the job. But I don't know. Nobody has told me. If somebody says that tomorrow, I will not be surprised.
