I would like to know

I would like to know if these sentences correct or not :
1- The boy seemed that he was in a hurry.
2- Her first novel displays a very unique sense of humor.
3- My most favorite subject is history.
4- Singapore is cleaner than Hong Kong but Hong Kong is the most interesting.
5- The country's main problem is economic.
6- Most of the visited government schools have very modern facilities.
7- My father and mother have worked hardly all their lives.
8- I have to say only one thing.
9- We had him to put a new lock on the door.

Most of these sentences are not correct. The following are not correct: 1,3,4,5,7,and 9. Remember that "more" or the "er" ending for the comparative refers to two items.

Most of these sentences are not correct. The following are not correct: 1,3,4,5,7,and 9.

Remember that "more" or the "er" ending for the comparative refers to two items. One is more ____ than the other. OR One is _____er than the other.

"Favorite" is already superlative, so you should not use "most" with it.
Try to correct them yourself. Let me know if you need me to

2- Her first novel displays a very unique sense of humor. (Some people would argue that "very unique" is OK, but strict English grammarians would say it's not OK.)

The boy seemed to be in a hurry.
