1.There four children in a class. The teacher asked questions three of them but not the other one. The teacher ... a student.
2. I have asked a question about thick and peculiar accents. Alpheccastars explained peculiar accent but she ... thick accent.
I think these three example is enough to demonstrate verb. In a Turkish dictionary skip and omit are given as correspondence.
