Hi teachers,
I would be very grateful if you would take a look at these paragraphs and see if you agree with them. If not, please suggest some alternatives.

In 1462 Constantinople falls, that’s why a lot of Turks go to Europe, to Romania to be precise. In Transylvania lives a knight, his name is Dracuela. He is a great defender of the Christianity. That’s why he is at war against Turks.
He has a girlfriend named Elisabetha. They love each other very much. While Draculea is in the battle, the Turks send a letter to Elisabetha, it says Draculea is dead. She feels sad and throws herself into a river.
When the knight comes back to his castle, he knows that Elisabetha is dead; Draculea goes crazy and swears revenge against the Turks and God. Also he says,“I raise for revenge for my enemies, (in) the blood is the life …’.

I'm not so sure about the sentence in blue.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Clive,
Thank you so much for your correction. It really helps me to learn and see where the mistakes are.
I didn't know that 'learn' can be used in this context.
Learn: to get to know.
E.g. It was then that I learnt that she was dead.
One more question please. Why don't you use 'in' before 1462?

I really appreciate it.

Hi,

I lost 'in' while copying and pasting. Careless. Sorry.
