Art is considered an important part of as well as an expression of its culture. Do you think it is important for children to be taught art? Do you think children should be encouraged to focus on art rather than other subjects?

It is commonly believed that art plays a crucial role in social and cultural aspects. Therefore, I think it is vital for the school to teach this subject to students at a young age. Nevertheless, students ought to study every subject equally.

First of all, art is necessary for children's mental development because it can trigger the creativity and imagination of children. To make it clear, the modern world nowadays requires a high demand for creativity and innovations, so it will be ideal for them to have some new ideas when they are at school.

Without art education, some children may feel fed up with other science subjects like Math, Chemistry, Physics. In other words, art is a means of relaxation after stressful hours of studying. For example, some children prefer to spend time drawing a picture or singing with pupils after doing maths exercises.

Furthermore, studying art can be greatly beneficial for children's communication and expression. It also means that if some children have difficulty putting their thoughts into language, they can use art to convey meaning through pictures and symbols instead. In that way, parents and teachers can get to know their children more profoundly if they are usually timid.

In spite of some advantages of art above, I hold the opinion that students should have balanced learning among subjects to develop wholely. Have an equal understanding of art, language, science, and physical education in school is really important.

In conclusion, studying art is a good way for children to develop their creativity and express their feelings. However, the school should provide balanced education alongside all the subjects for children.
