I worked hard this week

Hi,

Do you think the followings are true?

Suppose today is Saturday. I worked hard on Monday through Friday. I am not working today but it is still this week. I can say "I worked hard this week." I can also say "I have worked hard this week."

Suppose today is Friday. I worked hard on Monday up to now. I can say "I have worked hard this week." or "I have been working hard this week." But I can't say "I worked hard this week".

Thank you very much.
