Essay & Composition Writing

I worked for an environment where I put on a microphone and answered questions on a conference line

Hello,

I'm writing an essay about my military experience for my job application.

I worked for an air control job and I want to say:

"I worked for an environment where I put on a microphone and answered questions on a conference line."

I want to deliver what I did in a concise way for readers to understand and grasp what I did easily.

Are there any suggestions as to put this setence, words differently and easily?

Thanks!

People don't work for jobs. They have jobs. Do you mean that you were an air traffic controller https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_traffic_controller ?
