This is very largely fine. The one thing I would just check on, though, is the use of "the past days". It can have the feel that they have now split up, or the boyfriend is dead, or something like that.

This is very largely fine.
The one thing I would just check on, though, is the use of "the past days". It can have the feel that they have now split up, or the boyfriend is dead, or something like that. Is that what you intend?
