Is there any better way to say the red sentence?

(One of those nights when you fall asleep and wake up within ten or fifteen minutes and then the process keeps repeating itself.)

I had a very restless night. I woke up a lot.

That effect is described idiomatically in English as "tossing and turning". I had a restless night tossing and turning. There's nothing wrong with I woke up a lot , however.
