I wish something/anything interesting happened now.

I would like a native speaker to answer my questions.
Help me, please.

1. I wish something interesting happened now.
2. I wish anything interesting happened now.
Then I would not be bored.

1) The first sentence is OK, isn't it?
The second sentence is very awkward, isn't it?
2) Can these sentences be rephrased like this?

I wish something interesting happened now. = It would be a good thing if something interesting happened now. = It is a pity something interesting does not happen now.
I wish anything interesting happened now. = It would be a good thing if anything interesting happened now. = It is a pity that nothing interesting happens now.

No, the "happened" doesn't work with "now."

I wish something interesting would happen now.
I wish something interesting would happen.

As Mr. M told you about six times, do NOT use the "anything" version.

Of course, not every answer given in the forum is correct. But you seem so determined to reject all the answers you are given that I wonder why you ask questions here in the first place.

Okay, I'll bite.

Explain how "I wish something interesting happened now" is correct, and "I wish something interesting would happen now" is incorrect?
