I wish it wouldn't rain or I wish it was raining?

Should I say, "I wish it wouldn't rain" or "I wish it was raining"?

If both are possible, do they mean the same thing?

If not, when should I use each of them?

Would you please give me some examples?

Thank you very much for your kind help

Sorry. I meant to write, "I wish it wasn't raining"? It was just a typo.

Well!! Both has different meaning !! I wish it wouldn’t rain means that a person wishes for no rain.. and the another one is a person wishes for rain and eagerly waiting for it !
