I wish I were a bird that could fly.

Hi, Forum Gurus and Members!

(A) I wish I were a bird that could fly. VS (b) I wish I were a bird that can fly.

*** *** ***

Without any grammatical interference, to decide only by pure native speaker's sense of English,

among A, and B, which sounds better? Or, maybe it doesn't matter which one?

If the example sentence is ambiguous, what I intended to say is of the same structure as:

I wish I were a businessman that could/can make millions of dollars a year.
