Could you help me with this?

Which one is correct?

a) I wish i were a sand.

b) I wish i were sand.

I wish I were sand.-- because sand is uncountable. In the kind of context I imagine this, I would probably moan "I wish I were nothing but sand!"

They both have a problem. You need to change i to I. The word I is always capitalized.

If you make that change, the second one will be correct. (It's a very unusual thing to say. You know what sand is, don't you?)
