i wish i have been to the party?...

if i wanna express that i regret about something, how can i say it? for example last week there was a party but i was absent. after that i wanna ask them "how was the party", and they said it was good, than should i say "i wish i HAVE BEEN there"? or "i wish i WENT there"? or what else?

To express regret, you can say,

I wish I had been there.
I wish I had gone.
I should have gone.
I'm sorry I wasn't there.
I'm sorry I didn't go.
