I wish I had lived

1. I wish I had lived in Austria when Mozart lived.

I love 'The marriage of figaro'. One of my best is 'The marriage of figaro'.

Is the first sentence correct?

It shouldn't be Mozart. It could be any other person. It may be Hitler too; it you are a fan of Hitler.
