I wish I can & I wish I may

Hello.

Is that possible to use "I wish I can do smth" or I wish I may"? I saw sentences like: "I wish I can hold you now in my arms".

Thank you. I know the ordinary way to say my sentences correctly but I really wonder about "wish+can/may".

It's incorrect to use wish+can or wish+may.

The only exception that comes to mind is in a nursery rhyme, and here the meter and syllable count is probably more important than strict grammar.
