I Wish I....

Hello,

Could you tell me if my sentences are grammatically correct?

He wished he could swim.(Refers to past)

He wishes he could swim(Refers to present)

He wished he had a dog.(Past)

He wished he had had a dog.(Past)

He wishes he had had a dog.(Past)

He wishes he had a dog.(Present)

I wish you didn't tell him.(Present)

I wish you hadn't told him.(Past)

I wished you didn't tell him.(Past)

When is it possible to use 'was' instead of 'were'? Eg., I wish he was/were here.

Thanks
